"I am Sa Ra." She answered. "Dont talk so much. We found you, but past that I have no idea. You have a fever." She moistened the cloth again, then placed it on his forhead. "Here, drink this." She said as she held the water pouch to his lips again. When he sat up she sat still, her hand in midair ready to push him back down. He seemed fine though. "You are in the middle of who knows where. We have no idea where exactly we are." Mako scrambled into his lap. Still purring, he was really trying to find any food. He started to sulk when he didnt find any. Sa Ra went to her food supply and pulled out a peach. "Here, but eat slowly. Otherwise you will choke." She handed it to the man, and pulled Mako off his lap. "Come here, and leave him alone now." She told him in his own launguage.

Tankou stared at her, when she spoke to the animal, but had no objection eating the peach. Sure enough, he choked when he tried to get too much of the fruit down. He looked at her again, and offered an open hand with as close to a smile as he could.
"I am Tankou. It is a pleasure to meet you... How do you talk to him like that?"
OOC: what is Mako again....

[ OoC//I'm sorry I haven't been able to come here and post. I've had to go to 3 different houses the past few days to do gift exchanges and all. <.< So, I'll start when Orodreth first came. ^^;; ]
Malu paid no attention to the newcomer as he chatted with everyone, her eyes focused on the fire in front of her, which she was calmly watching as it rose and fell according to the breathing of those around it. Slowly, she closed her eyes and sighed lightly to herself. Then, when she heard Orodreth start speaking to her, she opened her eyes and was about to answer his question, though she was stopped by Rasir.
As Rasir's words reached her ears, her eyes widened and her head whipped toward him, her eyes narrowed slightly. She was only sixteen, why the hell would anyone believe her to be married!? A quiet groan came from her as she closed her eyes and slowly nodded her head before turning her head back to the fire.
Blocking out everyone else around her, Malu slowly slipped into her own thoughts and memories, not noticing the other person who had come with a fever.

(Mako is like a squirrel/racoon. That help?)
Sa Ra blushed slightly. "Well, I basically was raised by him. I learned the way he talked, and the birds, and several other animals." She sat down and crossed her legs. "Do you need anything else? You should probably rest." Her words were unsteady and halting. She knew she had talked too much, but she couldnt just leave. She looked behind her real quick, her eyes asking for help.

Rasir, looked over his companions real quickly and then back to Orodreth.
"Could my friends come along also?" he asked. "I'm don't think I'd like to leave them."

Orodreth sighed and looked toward the small group surrounding him. "I was to bring only you with me, but if you will not go any other way then they can accompany you to the island. Once on the island only you can come to meet the one who sent me."

"One more question...is this near the Southern Air Temple?" he asked eyebrow raised.

"I think I might have something for the little racoon/squirrel."
Tankou reached into his bag, and pulled out a small object. He squeezed it, and it made a small squeak. It was covered in fur, and hide to gnaw on without being threatened.
"I made this a while back, just before I left my people at eight. While I can't speak their language I often feel that I could one day understand them... Maybe you could teach me some time Sa Ra..."

"It's not near the Air temple, but the island would be on your way there."

Mako pounced on the squeaking thing and chewed on it, making it squeak more and more and making him angrier and angrier. He ran off, still squeaking it. Sa Ra smiled, then turned to Tankou. "Sure." She got out. She looked at the sky. 'Great, it is only morning and I am up to my word limit!' She wandered off behing Mako, listening to his squeaking. She wondered what he meant by 'his people' and about how he said one day he hoped to understand them. Is it possible there were others like her? She called to a bird flying overhead, and it landed on her shoulder. She sat down on the ground and started to ask it questions and whether it had heard anything about them. He soon flew off, and Sa Ra sat there, even more puzzled. She wasnt sure if she should believe the bird, since she sometimes mistranslated and she might have misunderstood.

Malu shook her head slightly, clearing her mind of the horrid memories that haunted her. Opening her eyes slowly, the theif looked up to finally notice Tankou, but she paid little attention to him when a few words reached her ears that came from Rasir and Orodreth's conversation. Raising an eyebrow slightly, Malu focused on them, listening carefully to their words. 'A secret meeting on an island...?' she asked herself, eyebrows furrowing in confusion.

Rasir turned to Malu, who was now looking at them.
"Malu, would you like to come with me to this island?" he asked her, hand extended, the sun rising behind his back.

Seeing that Rasir would most likely accept his request, Orodreth directed his attention back to the others. The sick man was now talking with Sa Ra about something. He seemed to be doing better. The water probably was all he needed.
He began thinking up a way to begin the second part of his plan. He debated about what to do in his mind. Finding and convincing the airbender was the easy part. What happened next depended on the choices that Rasir made in the next few days.

Blinking, Malu looked over at Rasir and smiled lightly, giving a small nod to answer his question. She reached out and slowly took his hand in hers. It was slightly awkward for her, seeing as she had never had any friends or anything and was always on her own.

"Sa Ra?" he looked over to her. "Will you come with us?" he asked smiling.
