Rasir looked up curiously. "Uhh, yeah, I did. Why?" he asked he.

Sa Ra felt a moment "Well, I was wondering if you could...teach me." She lifted her hand to move the braid, to show her arrow. When she did that, her sleeve fell down and showed the arrow on her arm. "I'm an airbender too." Sa Ra regretted she said that. It sounded stupid. "I never fully learned how to bend." That sounded better. She knew her hair had changed, even if it was a little. 'Great,' Sa Ra thought to herself. 'Reveal all your secrets to them. You dont even know if they will turn you in! Have they even seen the wanted posters?' She wondered.

"have I seen you before?" he asked, forgeting that he asked that young firebender where she was going. "You look famillar....oh well." he shrugged it off. "If you never learned how to fully bend, then why do you have the mastery tattoos?"

Sa Ra looked down. "The monk that taught me, she knew something was going to happen to her. She gave me the tattoos, telling me I still had to earn them. The next day, she was killed by some of the fire benders who stick to the old ways. That was two years ago. I have tried to earn them, but havent found any teachers yet." Sa Ra hated the memory. "She said she knew I would learn, but wasnt sure if I would find anyone capable of giving them."

"Well, I'm no monk, but I'm sure that I can teach you." he smiled, hiding his sorrow at the persecution of his people. He hated the fact that his gentle peace loving people were prosecuted. 'Well, they did excommunicate you', said a tiny voice in his head. he shook his head, banishing the thought. "Go get your stuff and meet me back here."
He turned to the fierbender. "You never answered my question though....Do you know where you're going after here?"

Sa Ra didnt have anythings, but she left any way. She could'nt believe it. She was finally getting someone to teach her. She closed her eyes and silently thanked Mira, who taught her. Sa Ra heard a small chittering noise, that was all too familiar. Going into the tent nearby, she saw it was filled with food and supplies. She followed the noise until she found Mako. He was a squirrel-raccon, and followed her everywhere. She pulled him out of the food, and out of the tent. She scolded him in his own launguage, then sighed and went to find some food to keep him occupied. He ate twice what she did, and it was hard to keep him satisfied. She hoped he would understand and let her take Mako. She couldnt imagin going anywhere without him. Sa Ra repositioned the braid around her head and smiled slightly. She wondered if he saw her at the circus, watching his demonstrations, or if he ever noticed her.

The firebender looked at the sky and her eyes slowly became out of focuse as she slightly dozed off, though not completely. More like just day dreaming. Malu yawned lightly, aware that Rasir was talking to someone else, though she did not care to look who it was. Minutes later, she slowly brought herself back to the present. "Hm?" she mumbled, looking over at Rasir as he spoke to her.
"You never answered my question though....Do you know where you're going after here?"
Shaking her head lightly, stray locks of hair fell into her face. "No," Malu answered simply. "I don't, really." She sighed lightly and looked up at the sky again, her hands now clasped together behind her back. "I just go where ever I want to go, unless I have a purpose to go somewhere else or somethin'." A small grin spread over her face as she looked back at him, giving a small shrug.

"Well," he kinda grinned, "why don't you come with me then. I was thinking of leaving the circus anyway." he looked up hopefully.

"why don't you come with me then. I was thinking of leaving the circus anyway."
His words caused Malu's eyes to widen slightly, though hardly at all. Her mouth hung open a bit as she stayed silent for a few moments. No one had ever asked her to do anything with them before. Shaking her head slightly to snap out of her thoughts, she shrugged lightly with a small smile. "Sure," she said quietly, her smile growing slightly. "I guess I could, seeing as I have nothin' better. Thank you." After giving a swift but short bow, she stood up with her hands still clasped together behind her back and stared up at the sky once again, though this time, she did not drift away.

"Alright," he was beaming inside. He had a new friend. And he felt as though he knew her from somewhere. "Well, where would you like to go?" he asked. "I really have no preferances."

"Well, where would you like to go? I really have no preferances."
Giving a light shrug, Malu looked around them. "I don't care, either, really. I was acually just randomly traveling around the Earth Kingdom, 'cause I've always wanted to see it." She laughed slightly. Suddenly, realization hit her and she let out another laugh. "I just realized," she began, looking over at him, "that I never introduced myself. I'm Malu."

He laughed.
"My name is Rasir." he sat at his desk and pulled out a map. "Well, why don't you take a look and see what might interest you here. I've been to most of the Earth Kingdom already, so I'll leave it up to you."

Giving a small nod, she quickly looked down at the map, trying to decide. Looking up at Rasir, she asked, "Have you been to the Earth Kingdom capital before? I was acually kind of heading there before I came here."

"Well," he leaned back in his chair. "I was there once. With the circus. We didn't even get into the outer ring though. They're very picky about who they let in." He leaned too far and fell out of his chair. He got up and brushed off his clothes. "if thats where you want to go then all we have to do is wait for that airbender girl to get back."

Malu quickly covered her mouth to muffle her silent laughs as she watched him fall out of his chair. She shook her head slightly and gave a small shrug.
"if thats where you want to go then all we have to do is wait for that airbender girl to get back."
With a short nod, Malu looked behind her outside to see if the girl was coming at all. With a light sigh, she sat slightly on the edge of Rasir's desk and held her hand up in front of her, palm up. Fire sprouted from her palm and she stared at it, boredly shaping the fire into different shapes.
